A fast paced project to upgrade telecommunication services while not disrupting the day to day operations of American Airlines as they move their systems to a new location in Terminal B.

The project was phased out into 5 sections that included a swing space that was used for the duration of the project.

Sullivan & McLaughlin was contracted by Suffolk Construction Company to upgrade the air to ground communications while keeping the old system online, which included numerous off hour cut overs to ensure the client did not have any downtime transitioning to the new network.

Execution

SullyMac worked closely with Schneider Electric to decommission and add access control throughout the space, and coordinated work with American Airlines IT to move the existing flight information display monitors to keep the baggage employees informed of all arrivals and departures.
