Structured cabling, also called premise cabling, refers to a set of standards devised by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) and the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) used to govern the installation of all cabling systems designed to transmit voice, data and video systems.

At Sullivan & McLaughlin, our technicians attend a five year apprenticeship in which they learn and apply these standards as they pertain to copper, fiber optic and wireless networks.  In addition, our technicians attend various industry and manufacturer training courses to maintain our status as experts in a multitude of products and systems.  Below is a list of the structured cabling services we offer to our clients.
